Cape towns for children aged birth-3, accompanied by a parent or caregiver. These are drop-in groups, no pre-registration is required. These playgroups do not meet on Nauset School vacation days. Toddler Story Hour: Thursdays, 10:00-11:30 am. weekly beginning September 27th at Brewster Ladies Library. Free play with toddler friendly toys in the meeting room 10:00-11:00 followed by a half hour group stories, songs, and games circle time. Eastham:
Wednesdays, weekly beginning October 3rd, 10:30-11:30 am at Eastham Public Library Children's Room. Lively interactive stories, games and songs with Lucy followed bya a hands-on project and free play in the children's play area.
Harwich:
*"Baby's 1st Year" Mondays 10:30-noon beginning September 24 through June at Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street. This drop-in group provides support/education/fun and play for new moms, dads or caregivers and their babies. No pre-registration is required. Family Centers grant through the Children's Trust Fund and a Coordinated Family & Community Engagement grant through the Mass. Dept. of Early Education & Care.
Tuesday Playgroup weekly beginning October 2 9:30-11:30 am. 9:30-10:30 Gym Time! Balls, ride-one toys, climbing & more! 10:30-11:30 Playroom - free play, play dough, craft project, sand table and more! Bring your own snack. This group follows the Harwich School calendar. This group meets at the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street.
Orleans:
Mondays, beginning October 15 9:45-11:15 am at The Old Firehouse Community Center's Gallery Room - Main St. Orleans
Provincetown:
Born to Read playgroup - Fridays beginning September 14 10:30-noon. Stories, songs, fund and laughter with Lucy followed by a hands-on project and free play in the children's area.
Truro:
No programs at this time.
Wellfleet:
Playgroup will resume in Fall 2012, check back for details.
