CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: FAMILY PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT SPECIALISTS (FRSS)Â
The Clinical Social Worker (Social Worker) at Cape Cod Children’s Place is part of a family-centered, team and community-based model of care. Social Workers work alongside Family Recovery Support Specialists (FRSSs), staff, families, and community partners as a team to support the emotional, behavioral, relational, needs of families – especially those impacted by substance use disorder. This position is different than traditional behavioral health settings focusing on building relationships with families that allow them to engage in meaningful clinical work overtime. The Social Worker’s work includes several interconnected areas: direct clinical services, consultation and collaboration, care coordination, documentation, relationship-building, and systems work. Â
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct assessments and identify behavioral health needs in partnership with familiesÂ
- Address mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs).Â
- Support parents experiencing challenges related to recovery, parenting, family functioning, child welfare involvement, reunification, or the grief and loss associated with separation from their children.Â
- Collaborate with Family Recovery Support Specialists (FRSSs), individual therapists, and other providers to ensure coordinated, relationship-centered care, including co-facilitating groups and supporting shared care planning when appropriate.Â
- Recognize the lived experiences of families and FRSSs, the Social Worker creates opportunities to discuss what a family member may be experiencing including parenting stress, difficult situations, or changes in a family’s circumstancesÂ
- Process the impact of the work, including secondary trauma with staff Â
- Carry a caseload of families meeting the complexity and intensity of families’ needs, and the balance between direct clinical services and consultationÂ
- The Social Worker is part of a broader network of support and is expected to work collaboratively with families, FRSSs, other providers, and community systems. Â
- Sharing observations about barriers families experience with staff and other providersÂ
- Identify opportunities for collaboration between behavioral health, substance use, health care, child welfare, and other systemsÂ
- Assist Program Director (PD) in developing and revising program policies and proceduresÂ
- Ensure records are accurate, current, and meet all agency and funding source requirementsÂ
- Hold certification in Mothering from the Inside Out and participate in all DPH meetings and trainingsÂ
- Facilitate client enrollments, admissions, and administer the GRPAÂ
- Provide training and professional support for FRSS
- Maintain agency confidentiality policies and ensure the staff does the sameÂ
- Participate in professional development, weekly supervision and self-reflectionÂ
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Hold a Master of Social Work degree with an active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work license (LICSW) or working toward.Â
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with families and with those impacted by substance use disorder. Â
- Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment system as well as the local health and social service organizations/systems. Demonstrates a comfort with multiple pathways to recovery from substance use disorder, including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), at any time during recovery including pregnancy.  Â
- Willingness to embrace a strength-based approach that recognizes an individual’s preferences and autonomy as well as the value and uniqueness of each family. 
- Strong advocacy skills along with knowledge of community-based services, resources, and local recovery community. Â
- Comfortable and experienced with computer systems including Microsoft 365

40 hour per week position located in South Yarmouth with some travel, occasional evening and weekend hours, some remote work may be possible once reach six-month tenure. Â
Salary range $85,000 – $100,000Â
TODDLER TEACHER
TODDLER TEACHER

POSITION SUMMARY
Teachers assist in the planning, organizing, and implementing of all curricula, informal and formal assessment, and indoor/outdoor classroom environments. They will model and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students and families. This individual works closely with the Lead Teacher and Director of Early Learning to maintain all regulatory responsibilities. The teacher meets weekly with immediate teaching team for the purpose of collaborating on curricula preparation and individual developmental goals for children.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow Cape Cod Children’s Place curricula; collaborate with teaching team to adjust topics of interest to current students’ needs or development levels.
- Adhere to all regulations set by the Department of Early Education & Care; NAEYC, and maintain current level of QRIS. Maintain a professional attitude towards said regulations.
- Treat each child, family, and colleague with dignity and respect; maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Maintain observations and anecdotal records of children’s development, especially with regard to developmental goals.
- Maintain reliable, consistent attendance.
- Maintain and log into family communication app for each student.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding students, families, colleagues, and other CCCP clients.
- Report health and safety issues to the Director of Early Learning.
- Participate in daily required housekeeping tasks for immediate classroom, including emptying of trash bins, vacuuming and mopping of floor, wiping down surfaces daily.
- Attend all scheduled monthly Teachers’ Meetings and Cape Cod Children’s Place community events.
- Maintain personal Professional Qualifications Registry.
- Maintain annual Infant & Child CPR/First Aid certification, preferred
- Assist in any activities that are needed to maintain the smooth operation of the classroom and Cape Cod Children’s Place.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Department of Early Education & Care Teacher certification for age group of classroom preferred; candidates actively working toward certification are encouraged to apply.
- Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field; or evidence of working towards a degree (preferred).
- Demonstrate willingness to become familiar with state regulations, NAEYC standards, and QRIS initiative.
- Must successfully complete and maintain a suitable Background Record Check (BRC) as required by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).
- Experience working with children ages birth – 5 years old preferred.
- First Aid/CPR certified or willingness to become certified.

POSITION DETAILS
This is a full-time position between 35-40 hours per week. $21-30/hour
SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS
CCCP is currently seeking substitute teachers for our Early Learning Center. (Infant / Toddler / Preschool)
A teaching certification from EEC is a plus, but not required.
Candidates will need to submit to a criminal background check, to adhere to all Massachusetts Mandatory Safety in the Workplace Guidelines, and the Minimum Health & Safety Requirements set forth by the Department of Early Education & Care (EEC).
